Descaler/Deruster

Creet is an inhibited hydrochloric acid based material incorporating effective corrosion inhibitors. It has been specifically formulated for the rapid removal of carbonate scale and iron oxide deposits found in boilers, heat exchangers and sea water evaporators for the effective removal of cement and limestone from plant and equipment. It should not be used in systems containing galvanised steel, magnesium alloys and aluminium alloys.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

May be applied by hand using a soft brush, by acid resistant non-misting hand sprayer or by tank immersion. Dilution will depend on the extend of scaling or rusting but is usually between 1:42 and 1:12.

Action may be speeded up by raising the temperature or the solution, but must never exceed 50°C in order to avoid breakdown of the corrosion inhibitor.
